We get so many different customers here at ZIVA and each couple has their own special story. Some of them are even kind enough to share it with us and let me tell you, romance is not dead. The talk about their special someone like she is some magical angel, absolutely perfect in their eyes. They want everything to be perfect because their special someone deserves better than the best. And the surprises and whimsical proposals they have in store! We always get a feeling of giddiness when they tell us about it because we know that some lucky girl out there is going to experience it.

Ladies, if you just knew what these men say about you, you would turn fire-engine red. Just because they don’t have the courage to tell you in person, doesn’t mean they’re not telling strangers how much they love you.

And the women that buy themselves beautiful jewelry. Oh, they’re divine. Banish the thought of some devil-wears-Prada diva, because these women are gracious and graceful. They talk about their diamonds with thankfulness not entitlement. They’re appreciate that some greater power blessed them with the chance to own one and they cherish it. It’s a far cry from selfish materialism.

Sure a diamond is just a symbol, but a symbol attained in a moment of elation and as a celebration of life and love. There is so much emotion and happiness tied to a diamond, but it isn’t the diamond that brings the joy. You really need to get one to understand the effect it has on your heart when it is received in love. It’s the self love and the romantic love behind it that make it worthwhile.
